Booth for Rent

Levi and Lili, Coral Springs’ oldest tattoo & piercing studio, is looking to add a full-time experienced tattooer to our growing shop.

Any artist who poses a health code risk or a gross violation -such as theft- will not be permitted to continue renting a booth from the Levi & Lili Tattoo Company. Background checks and social media checks will be conducted. We want everyone, staff and clients, to feel comfortable and secure.

Perks of Renting Booth Space from LLTC

Unlike a percentage split, booth rental means you own your own business. This rental arrangement provides artists with freedom. Here are just some of the perks of choosing to rent booth space at LLTC:

  • Complimentary supply of cleaning products, biomedical waste and sharps disposal, and many other supplies
  • Designated booth space including a tv , large tool chest, and storage shelves
  • You set your schedule including a shop key and security code
  • You choose your clients
  • You have the right to refuse your client’s designs that you don’t want to do
  • You have a right to set your own rates, your own scheduling procedures, your own consultation policies. You can take whatever payment methods you choose. Cash only? So be it. Want to take credit/debit cards through your own processor like Square or Clover? Works for us. If you want to use the shop’s credit card processing company, there will be a processing fee.
  • No non-compete clause affords you business and artistic freedom
  • Choose your own work days and decide on your own if you want to work at multiple shops, work conventions and festivals, or sell your own merchandise
  • LLTC never expects a cut of your merch sales or your fine art sales

Interested in tattooing at LLTC?

Although, renting a booth at our shop means you are your own boss, we do have some tips for success. A successful artist will:

  • Commit to 3-4 days of tattooing each week is highly recommended, but there are no minimum hours or days needed for us to be willing to let you rent a booth with us. We are currently appointment-only but do plan to return to regularly scheduled shop hours at the earliest possible time, if you choose to work during those hours
  • Be a self starter, because you will be running your own business. We are not a street shop and we strongly recommend being able to handle operating as Appointment Only. Walk-ins may be available but are not the main stream of clientele.
  • Follow state-regulated procedure. The State of Florida does have certain rules you must follow by law. You must have your blood-borne pathogen training certificate as well as your tattoo license from the Department of Health
  • Treat all artists and guests with courtesy and decency.
  • Be trustworthy.
  • Avoid alcohol abuse and narcotics abuse. We do not drug test, but we will not tolerate artists or customers being impaired/under any chemical influence.
  • Be hygienic. It’s the law.
  • Market yourself. Again, we are not a street shop, but a private studio space.

We need to see your portfolio

If you are interested in renting booth space at LLTC, you will need to present us with an online portfolio. Your portfolio should consist of at least 30 current tattoos and even some drawings. All of the current artists and owners will likely be taking a look at this portfolio.
